Funeral service for Bertha A. Huff of North Ft. Myers, Fla., will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. The Rev. Daniel Stoffel will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
Huff, 78, died Monday, Aug. 15, 1994, at her home.
She was born July 5, 1916, in Union County, Ill., daughter of Thomas and Belle Edmonds. She and Irvin "Jug" Huff were married in 1939. He died Oct. 20, 1960.
Huff attended Cape Girardeau schools, and was formerly minister of the Gospel Center Church here. She also worked with her husband in home construction.
Survivors include a son, James Donald Vaughn of North Ft. Myers; a daughter, Nancy Stoffel of Cape Girardeau; two stepsons, Clyde Huff of Cape Girardeau, Harold Huff of Cape Girardeau; six grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.
