MARBLE HILL -- Berry W. Russell, 67, of Marble Hill, died Wednesday, Jan. 12, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born Feb. 18, 1926, at Marble Hill, son of Jesse and Permealie Long Russell.
He married Alveta Baker Ramsey. She died in October 1976.
He later married Connie Hahs.
Russell was a retired welder.
He was a member of the New Salem Baptist Church near Marble Hill.
Survivors include his wife; a son Bradley Russell of Marble Hill; two step-sons, Wesley Ramsey of Marble Hill, Russell Ramsey of Puxico, Mo.; two step-daughters, Elizabeth Gable of Jackson, Angie Woodfin of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Luther Russell of the state of Mississippi, David Russell of the state of Texas; four sisters, Mattie Wilson, Essie Green and Maggie Long, all of Marble Hill, Jessie Russell of Morley, Mo.; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call from after 5 p.m. today at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, with the Rev. Randy Poole officiating.
Burial will follow in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.
