Berniece F. Sibley, 90, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Jan. 25, 2001, at the Lutheran Home. She was born June 26, 1910, in Sikeston, Mo., daughter of George Louis and Ollie LaGrange Farris. She and Frank Sibley Jr. were married April 16, 1938. He died Feb. 29, 1996...

Berniece F. Sibley, 90, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Jan. 25, 2001, at the Lutheran Home.

She was born June 26, 1910, in Sikeston, Mo., daughter of George Louis and Ollie LaGrange Farris. She and Frank Sibley Jr. were married April 16, 1938. He died Feb. 29, 1996.

Sibley had been a part-time librarian at Sikeston Public Library. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Jan Sibley of Perryville, Mo.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston after noon Sunday.

Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston. Dr. Jim Guffie will officiate.
