SIKESTON, Mo. -- Bernie Lee Seagraves, 78, of Sikeston died Saturday, April 10, 2004, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
He was born Feb. 8, 1926, in Senath, Mo., son of Martin and Lela Allen Seagraves. He and Madeline Hutchason were married Aug. 8, 1947, in Kokomo, Ind.
Seagraves was a farmer.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Martin Seagraves of Lafayette, La.; a daughter, Karen Seagraves of Sikeston; a brother, L.D. Seagraves of Sikeston; two sisters, Edith Brown of San Diego, Calif., Leotha Lee of Pensacola, Fla.; and a granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, and a sister.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Jerry Adams officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
