Bernice Dunn Warren, 90, of Bell City, Mo., was born March 28, 1919, at Bell City, the daughter of Walter and Zella Proffer Bollinger, and passed away Dec. 31, 2009, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
Bernice had been a school teacher for many years at Bell City schools. She had also been a secretary for many years for Dunn Gas Co. in Bell City. She was a member of the Bell City United Methodist Church and an active member of the United Methodist Women.
Bernice and Ivan Dunn were united in marriage in 1941, and he preceded her in death Dec. 9, 1989. She later married Clifford Warren. He also preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son; Ivan Mack (Katie) Dunn of Coronado, Calif.; a daughter, Karen (Clyde) Jenkins of Bell City; a sister, Mona Rendleman of Bell City; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Max Bollinger; and a sister, Melba Williamson.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of the funeral at 2 p.m. today at Bell City United Methodist Church. The Rev. Andy Lambel will officiate. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Bell City.
