Bernice L. Scholl of St. Louis County passed away at her home Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009. She was born Feb. 8, 1943, in Uniontown, Mo., to Albert and Vera Wichern. She married Vernon R. Scholl Oct. 7, 1978, in Ladue, Mo. He preceded her in death. Bernice is survived by her mother, Vera Wichern; two sisters, Eileen (Charles) Rauh, Gerri (Ron) Hoehn; a brother, Dennis Wichern; two nieces; three nephews; four great-nieces; and four great-nephews...

She worked for Hoener Associates Inc. as a draftsperson from 1969 until retirement in 2006. She is a member of the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons Funeral Home in St. Louis. Visitation will also be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection in St. Louis.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Virgil Kelm officiating. Graveside services will follow at 1 p.m. at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson with the Rev. Paul Winningham officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, Saxony Lutheran High School, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Susan G. Komen for the Cure or to the donor's choice.
