BLOOMFIELD, Mo. -- Saran Bernice Parks, 84, of Bloomfield died Friday, June 28, 2002, at Southern Missouri Healthcare in Dexter, Mo.
She was born Oct. 15, 1917, at Bloomfield, the daughter of Walter Daniel and Armitte Josephine Wren Shrum.
She was a lifelong resident of Bloomfield and a homemaker.
She is survived by three sons, Don Parks and Bobby Parks, both of Bloomfield, and Bill Parks of Benton, Mo.; five daughters, Mary Duncan, Shirley Burton, Ruth Parks, Karen Parks and Onie Parks, all of Bloomfield; two sisters, Dorothy Link and Nellie Wampler; 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, two sisters, one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at the Hollis Cemetery at Acorn Ridge, Mo.
