Bernice Bramlett, 99, formerly of Cardwell, Mo., died Friday, June 3, 2011, at Ratliff Care Center. She was born Nov. 7, 1911, near Brilliant, Ala., to Jesse and Kittie Lambert. Bernice most recently lived in Cape Girardeau, where she attended Cape Church of Christ. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading books and the Bible, watching the Cardinals and enjoying her great-grandchildren...

Bernice Bramlett, 99, formerly of Cardwell, Mo., died Friday, June 3, 2011, at Ratliff Care Center.

She was born Nov. 7, 1911, near Brilliant, Ala., to Jesse and Kittie Lambert.

Bernice most recently lived in Cape Girardeau, where she attended Cape Church of Christ. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading books and the Bible, watching the Cardinals and enjoying her great-grandchildren.

Survivors include a daughter, Charolyn Robison (Jim) of Cape Girardeau; a son, Rick Bramlett (Betty) of Onancock, Va.; five grandchildren, Leigh Ann (Kelley) Segraves, Scott Robison, Matthew (Rebecca) Bramlett, Amy (Larry) Grose, Abby (Bill) Kenerly; seven great-grandchildren; five sisters, Gladys Summitt, Charlette Eubanks, Kathleen Crow, Maxine Sifford and Wilma Barrett.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to service time today at Antioch Church of Christ in Cardwell.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at the church.

McDaniel Funeral Home in Senath, Mo., is in charge of arrangements.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to a charity of choice.
