Bernice Mary Baldwin, 73, of Jackson passed away Thursday, June 4, 2020, at the home of her son.
She was born March 22, 1947, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Joseph and Rowena Ponder Meyer.
Bernice was a 1965 graduate of Perryville (Missouri) High School and worked 28 years in the engraving department at Mondi in Jackson. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson, and also enjoyed attending Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church at Apple Creek, Missouri, where she was baptized and confirmed. Bernice enjoyed helping people out in any way she could and tending her flower garden.
Loving survivors include sons, Rick (Kim) Baldwin of Frohna, Missouri, and Jeff (DeAnna) Baldwin of Friedheim; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and four godchildren. Also surviving are siblings, Leo (Rose Diane) Meyer of Uniontown, Missouri, Pat (Chris) Lambrecht of Westminster, Colorado, Ellen Meyer of Perryville, Dorothy (Don) Hemmann of Uniontown, Missouri, and Rose (Rob) Huff of Cape Girardeau.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A private visitation and Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church at Apple Creek. Interment will be in St. Michael's Cemetery at Apple Creek.
The family suggests contributions be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church at Apple Creek, Crown Hospice or Immaculate Conception Catholic School in Jackson.
