ORAN -- Bernard William Anthony, 78, of Oran, died Monday, April 12, 1993, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
He was born Sept. 9, 1914, in London, Ark., son of Benjamin Huff and Ida Augusta Tanner Anthony. He and Hazel Mae Harmon were married Juy 19, 1935.
Anthony was retired from E.P. Coleman Farms at Sikeston, and was a member of First Baptist Church here.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, William Anthony of Selma, Ala., Kenneth Anthony of Grantsville, Kan., Fred Anthony of Derby, Kan.; a daughter, Betty Perry of Kinmundy, Ill.; two sisters, Pearl Bennett of Pekin, Ill., Hattie Crawford of Dallas, Texas; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and a great-stepgrandchild.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. Burial will be in Friend Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. today.
