ORAN -- Funeral service for Bernard John Eftink, Oran Route 1, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Guardian Angel Catholic Church. The Rev. Normand Varone will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Oran after 5 p.m. today. The rosary will be at 7.

Eftink, 84, died Monday, Sept. 20, 1993, at Chaffee Nursing Center.

He was born Aug. 16, 1909, at Oran, son of John Bernard and Johanna Hendreaka Scharenberg Eftink.

Eftink was a retired self-employed farmer. He was a member of Guardian Angel Church and St. Joseph Sodality.

Survivors include nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by seven brothers and a sister.
