Bernard C. "Bud" Bruenderman, 88, of Wilsonville, Ore., died Thursday, March 21, 2013, at his home.
He was born June 19, 1924, in Charleston, Mo., to Bernard Joseph and Margaret Louise Renaud Bruenderman. He and Bonnie Lou Barber of Poplar Bluff, Mo., were married Sept. 24, 1945, at St. Henry's Catholic Church in Charleston.
Survivors include his wife; five sons, Stephen Bruenderman of Keizer, Ore., B. Dave (Joyce) Bruenderman of Cape Girardeau, Philip (Wanda) Bruenderman of Levi, Utah, Larry (Sandi) Bruenderman of Tigard, Ore., and Tim (Deanne) Bruenderman of Vancouver, Wash.; three daughters, Martha (Bernie) Sheely of Lake Oswego, Ore., Elaine (Gary) Biasi of Sherwood, Ore., and Mary Bruenderman of Wilsonville; a sister, Mary Lou Newcomb of Charleston; 35 grandchildren; 75 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Theresa Pettijohn; his parents; four brothers; and two sisters.
A memorial/funeral Mass was at St. Cyril's Catholic Church in Wilsonville. He will be entombed in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Lake Oswego.
