BENNY GREER

SIKESTON -- Benny Allen Greer, 25, of Sikeston died Friday, July 12, 1996, after being hit by a vehicle.

He was born Dec. 21, 1970, at Sikeston, son of Otis L. and Merle E. McIntyre Greer. He and Lisa Dianne Rose were married June 7, 1996, at Sikeston.

Greer worked at Heartland Wood Products Co. and was a 1989 graduate of Sikeston High School.

Survivors include his parents; his wife; a son, Joseph Thafield Greer of Oran; a daughter, Sierra Nichole Greer of Oran; two stepsons, C.J. Erickson II and Jonathon Caleb Erickson, both of Sikeston; a brother, Daniel Greer of Sikeston; two sisters, Ellen Jenkins of Sikeston and Lisa Lathum of Painton; a paternal grandfather, Rulin "Bud" Miller of Sikeston; and a paternal grandmother, Burnadetta McIntyre of Bell City.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the chapel, with the Rev. Robert Burnes officiating. Burial will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery near Bell City.
