CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Benjamin R. Bennett, 4 months, of Chaffee died Sunday, Dec. 25, 2011, at St. Louis Children's Hospital.

He was born Aug. 22, 2011, in St. Louis, to Simon A. and Alexis R. Shartzer Bennett.

Survivors include his parents of Chaffee; a brother, Dominic A. Polhamus of Chaffee; maternal grandmother, Rebecca Shartzer of Oak Ridge; maternal grandfather, Brian Shartzer of Macon, Ill.; maternal great-grandparents, Pat and Andy Anderson of Moweaqua, Ill.; paternal grandparents, Stephen and Bambi Bennett of Cape Girardeau; paternal great-grandparents, Sibil Bennett of Advance, Mo., and Maxine Forest of Panama City, Fla.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to service time Friday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating.
