Belita M. "Sissy" Brammer, 71, of Jackson passed away Friday, Sept. 16, 2022, at her home. She was born March 27, 1951, in Vincennes, Indiana, daughter of Eugene E. and Eunice L. Eiler Myers. She and Jens Brammer were married June 10, 1989. Belita graduated in 1969 from McCluer High School in Ferguson, Missouri. She received a bachelor's degree in education from Southeast Missouri State University, and was a long-time employee of the university. She retired from Midamerica Hotels...

Belita M. "Sissy" Brammer, 71, of Jackson passed away Friday, Sept. 16, 2022, at her home.

She was born March 27, 1951, in Vincennes, Indiana, daughter of Eugene E. and Eunice L. Eiler Myers. She and Jens Brammer were married June 10, 1989.

Belita graduated in 1969 from McCluer High School in Ferguson, Missouri. She received a bachelor's degree in education from Southeast Missouri State University, and was a long-time employee of the university. She retired from Midamerica Hotels.

Loving survivors include her husband of 33 years; two children, Nathan (Ashley) Murray of Cheyenne, Wyoming, and Kelly Murray of Jackson; four grandchildren, Christopher Murray, Mark Murray, Tristin Brammer and Justin (Veronica) Brammer; a great-granddaughter, Savannah Brammer; siblings, Gene (Frances) Myers of Jackson, Debby (Doug) Lich of Ironton, Missouri, and Candyce Burlison of Fredericktown, Missouri; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Belita was preceded in death by her parents; son, Kris Brammer; daughter, Alisa Holderbaugh; sister, Dana Wolfe; and brother-in-law, Kelly Burlison.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to Safe Harbor Animal Sanctuary.
