JACKSON -- Funeral service for Beaulah M. Brown of Jackson will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home, with the Rev. Al Brown officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.

Brown, 82, died Sunday, July 16, 1995, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born June 23, 1913, at Pomona, daughter of George and Mary Miller Gastineau. She and Otis Brown were married Oct. 11, 1933. He preceded her in death Aug. 26, 1976.

Brown moved from Ste. Genevieve to Cape Girardeau in 1945. She was a member of Shepard Baptist Church in Neely's Landing. She retired from International Shoe Co. in the 1970s.

Survivors include five sons, LeeRoy and Charles Brown of Jackson, Elmer Brown of Scott City, Guy Brown of Gordonville, Albert Brown of New Wells; a daughter, Susie James of Jackson; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by a son, two brothers, two sisters and two grandchildren.
