ADVANCE, Mo. -- Beauford Duniphan, 95, of McGee, Mo., died Friday, May 9, 2003, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born June 2, 1907, at Gipsy, Mo., son of Sam and Nancy Ritchey Duniphan. He and Mary Morgan were married Nov. 10, 1924, at Flat River, Mo. She died May 8, 1995.
Duniphan retired as a maintenance supervisor for the Federal Job Corp. at Mingo and he was also a farmer. He attended Bright Prospect Church.
Survivors include a son, Elwin Duniphan of Park, Colo.; two daughters, LeBerta Farmer of Grand Praire, Texas, and Charlotte Beck of Fairfax Station, Va.; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandsons.
He was preceded in death by a son, five brothers, five sisters and a granddaughter.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Ray Placher and Lee Roy Hefner officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
