BEATRICE SNEED

Beatrice M. "Bea" Sneed, 81, formerly of Cape Girardeau and Sikeston, Mo., died Wednesday, May 30, 2001, at Eden Village Care Center in Glen Carbon, Ill. She was born Nov. 23, 1919, at Kewanee, Mo., daughter of Isaac and Lucy Davis Parks. She and Alfred W. Sneed were married Jan. 30, 1936. He died Feb. 26, 1979...

Beatrice M. "Bea" Sneed, 81, formerly of Cape Girardeau and Sikeston, Mo., died Wednesday, May 30, 2001, at Eden Village Care Center in Glen Carbon, Ill.

She was born Nov. 23, 1919, at Kewanee, Mo., daughter of Isaac and Lucy Davis Parks. She and Alfred W. Sneed were married Jan. 30, 1936. He died Feb. 26, 1979.

Sneed was a member of Florissant Garden Club.

Survivors include two sons, Larry Sneed of Delwood, Mo., Tom Sneed of Edwardsville, Ill.; a sister, Margaret Conrad of Cape Girardeau; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston from 5-8 p.m. Friday.

Funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the chapel. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
