BEATRICE RICHARDS

SIKESTON -- Beatrice Richards, 82, of Sikeston died Friday, April 9, 1999, at her home.

She was born April 22, 1916, at Stantonville, Tenn., daughter of the late John and Daisy Garner Cooksey. On May 18, 1961, she married William Richards in Sikeston. He died Dec. 23, 1998.

She had been a homemaker and was a member of the North Acres General Baptist Church. She had been a member of the Eastern Star Morehouse Chapter 450 since March 20, 1979.

She is survived by a sister, Reva Harris of Benton, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, with an Eastern Star service at 7:30.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. James Trotter officiating. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
