BLOOMFIELD, Mo. -- Beatrice O'Daniell, 87, of Bloomfield died Saturday, July 14, 2001 at Southern Missouri Healthcare in Dexter.
She was born June 1, 1914 at Loganville, Wis., to John and Ella Schulte Klipstein. She grew up in Des Plaines, Ill.
She married Ivan Delmar O'Daniell on July 6, 1934, at Ste. Genevieve, Mo. He died Dec. 9, 1980.
She and her husband were former owners of the Bloomfield Vindicator newspaper. They also had owned papers in Minnesota, New Mexico, Georgia and Nebraska.
Survivors include three sons, Ivan Delmar O'Daniell Jr. of Bloomfield, Charles Franklin O'Daniell of Oregon state and John Allen O'Daniell of California state; one daughter, Nan Dawson of Raytown, Mo.; seven grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and numerous great-granchildren.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. today at Rainey Funeral Home in Dexter. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Phil Warren officiating. Burial will follow in Bloomfield Cemetery.
