SCOTT CITY -- Beatrice Evelyn Kinder, 69, of Scott City died Saturday, March 30, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born June 6, 1926, at Illmo, daughter of Albert August and Carolina Rosena Rubel. She and Buford Edward Kinder were married Oct. 21, 1947, at Illmo. He died March 5, 1974.
Kinder worked as a machine operator at the former Ely Walker factory in Illmo. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda Pikey of Scott City; a stepdaughter, Ruth Ann Tripp of Independence; a brother, Chuck Rubel of Peoria, Ill.; two sisters, Marie Mirgaux and Fern Menees, both of Scott City; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Charles Lance officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Memorial Cemetery.
