BARBARA TAYLOR

DEXTER -- Funeral service for Barbara Louise Taylor of Dexter will be held at 2 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter. The Revs. Terry Barber and Christian Garrett will officiate, with burial in Triplett Cemetery near Dexter.

Taylor, 62, died Tuesday, April 29, 1997, at Dexter Memorial Hospital.

She was born Nov. 29, 1934, at Morehouse, daughter of William and Dora West Griffin.

Taylor had lived in Morehouse most of her life, and at Dexter 2 years.

Survivors include two sons, Terry Barber of El Dorado, Ark., Marshall Barber of Sikeston; a daughter, Christol Crone of Dexter; two brothers, James "Cotton" Griffin of Morehouse, Robert Crenshaw of Odessa, Texas; two sisters, Anna Anderson of Sikeston, Betty Tooley of River Grove, Ill.; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother.
