BARBARA M. PATTON

MARBLE HILL -- Barbara M. Patton of Berkeley, formerly of Marble Hill, died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 1991, at her home.

She was born in Jonesboro, N.C. on Sept. 23, 1905 to the late Henry and Mary Byrd Gales.

On Nov. 12, 1924 she married Leroy Patton. He proceeded her in death on Dec. 27, 1975.

She is survived by two sons, Roy Patton of St. Louis and Oliver Patton of Florida; one daughter, Dorothy Whitwicky of Alberta, Canada; one brother, Danny Gales of Shaloc, N.C.; two sisters, Margaret Gales of N.C. and Mary Lou Gales of Brooklyn, N.Y.; nine grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

She was proceeded in death by two sons, three brothers and two sisters.

She was a retired nurse, and of the Baptist faith.

Friends may call on Friday at the Liley Funeral Home in Lutesville from 9-11 a.m. Service will be a 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Officiating will be the Rev. Perry Krekel.

Burial and grave side service will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Fee Fee Cemetery in Bridgeton.
