Barbara Jean Jaco, 907 South Sprigg, died Friday, Aug. 2, 1991, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was 47.
She was born Feb. 26, 1944 in Dearborn, Mich., daughter of Edward and Helen Anna King Paynter.
She was waitress at the Pasta House Restaurant for five years. She was a member of the Potter's House.
On Sept. 23, 1987, she married Junior E. Jaco in Cape Girardeau. He survives.
Other survivors are her mother, Helen Furlong, Cape Girardeau; one son, Steven Todd Meyerhoff, Cape Girardeau; one step-son, Edward Harley Jaco, Cape Girardeau; one step-daughter, Hazel Carlotta Schlitt, Chaffee; one brother, Harold Furlong, Cape Girardeau; one sister, Patricia Childs, Cape Girardeau; one granddaughter and five step-grandchildren.
Friends may call Sunday from 4-8 p.m. at Ford & Sons Sprigg Street Chapel in Cape Girardeau. Service will be Monday at 3 p.m. at the chapel with Gordon Porter officiating. Burial will follow in the Lorimier Cemetery.
