Barbara Hagerling

Barbara Ann Hagerling, 64, of Jackson passed away Friday, Sept. 21, 2018, at Woodland Hills in Marble Hill, Missouri.

Born Aug. 6, 1954, in DuQuoin, Illinois, she was the daughter of James Edward and Genevieve Viola Robbins Hale. She married Terry Lee Hagerling on Oct. 9, 1982. He survives.

She worked as a self-employed licensed day care provider. She was of the Methodist faith.

Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Rebecca Hagerling of DuQuoin; a sister, Elizabeth Human of Carterville, Illinois; and a brother, John Hale of Salem, Illinois.

Her parents and two brothers predeceased her.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Baker Cemetery near Marble Hill. The Rev. Michael Hargraves will officiate.

Hutchings Funeral Chapel is assisting the family.
