Barbara Ann Litzelfelner Gorski, 77, of Jackson passed away Thursday, June 11, 2015, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Nov. 27, 1937, in Cape Girardeau to the late Odis and Ethel Masterson Litzelfelner.
Barb was a graduate of Jackson High School and the University of Missouri. She was an executive secretary for Monsanto 37 years.
Barb was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Jackson, and also attended the Cowboy Church. She loved music, her piano and enjoyed volunteering at the Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau. Barb was a huge Jackson Indian football fan. She was known to many as "Aunt Barb." She was the center of the family and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by a brother, Jack (Judy) Litzelfelner of Jackson; companion and caregiver, Ernest Slinkard of Jackson; and more than 30 nieces and nephews.
Barb was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Gorski; four brothers, Odis Jr., Ralph, Jim and Joe Litzelfelner; six sisters, Ladonne Wilson, Kathleen Gebhardt, Margaret Miltenberger, Odeen Wier, Rosie Bradsher and Phyllis Vickery.
Barb's last selfless act was donating her body to the Saint Louis University School of Medicine.
A celebration of life service will be at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Ford and Sons Funeral Home.
