Barbara Ann Calhoun, 80, of Scott City died Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Dec. 14, 1936, in Lilbourn, Missouri, to Odis and Lola May Bowlin Guiling. She married Donald Lee Calhoun Sr. on Dec. 24, 1957, in Oran, Missouri. He preceded her in death May 1, 2004.
She was a presser for Thorngate. She was a member of the Advance Church of Christ and a lifetime member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary Post 6407 in Scott City.
She is survived by three sons, Donald (Brenda) Calhoun of Sturdivant, Missouri, J.D. (Sandy) Calhoun of Nauvoo, Alabama, and Larry (Jo Ellen) Calhoun Sr. of Scott City; a daughter, Teresa (Gary) Keller of Scott City; a brother, Doyne (Teresa) Guiling of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Betty Tunis of Meza, Arizona; 25 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by a son, Odis Calhoun; a brother, James Guiling; and a granddaughter, Brittany Jo Calhoun.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Rennie Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery in Morley, Missouri.
