BARBARA ANN JONES

CHARLESTON - Barbara Ann Jones, 39, of Chicago, Ill., formerly of Charleston, died Sunday, Oct. 6, 1991 at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke Medical Center in Chicago.

She was born May 27, 1952 in Charleston. Her mother, Elnora Butler, of Chicago, survives. Her father, John Jones, preceded her in death.

Also surviving are five sons and two daughters, all of the home. The sons are Walter, Cornell, Ledell, Cortez, and Byron; the daughters are Yolanda and Latosha.

Surviving as well are brothers George Richardson and Willie Lee Jones, both of Chicago, and Tommie Jones of Charleston; and sisters Maedine Butler and Ezola Clark, both of Charleston, and Geraline Jones of Chicago.

Visitation will be held Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Mercy Seat Baptist Church in Charleston. Funeral services will follow at the church, with the Rev. J.L. Posey officiating.

Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Charleston. Sparks Funeral Home in Charleston is in charge of arrangements.
