DEXTER -- Aymond William Duffey, 81, of Dexter died Friday, Nov. 20, 1998, at Dexter Memorial Hospital.
He was born July 20, 1917, at Bloomfield to James William and Minnie Bell Morris Duffey.
On July 5, 1944, he married Louise Cox, who survives.
He was a retired carpenter and sales clerk for Busy Bee Lumber Co. at Dexter. He was a member of the Bloomfield Church of Christ.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include, his wife; a daughter, Jeanne Armes of Bloomfield; four sisters, Lucille Wright of Advance and Melba Boreman, Georgia Henry and Bertie Cook, all of Bloomfield; and a granddaughter. A brother, sister and grandson preceded him in death.
Visitation is today from 6 to 8 p.m. at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with Carol Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in Walker Cemetery near Bloomfield.
