Aurelia M. Muster, 87, of Gordonville passed away Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born July 25, 1925, in Kelso, Mo., to Paul and Anna Scherer Glastetter. She married Edwin Muster. He passed away in 1983...

Aurelia M. Muster, 87, of Gordonville passed away Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born July 25, 1925, in Kelso, Mo., to Paul and Anna Scherer Glastetter. She married Edwin Muster. He passed away in 1983.

Aurelia attended school in Kelso. She was employed by the former Ralph Edwards and the former Thorngate, both in Cape Girardeau. She also worked in the home-health field, assisting families in the care of their loved ones.

She was a longtime member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson.

Loving survivors include her son, Alan Muster of Gordonville; two brothers, Sylvester (Ramona) Glastetter and John (Dorothy) Glastetter, all of Kelso; four sisters, Rita (Alfred) Kluesner of Chaffee, Mo., Coletta (the late David) Neff of Waterloo, Ill., Helen (the late Alvin) Vandeven of Marble Hill, Mo., and Bertha (the late Jim) Seyer of Dutchtown; two sisters-in-law, Anna Glastetter of Benton, Mo., and Bertie Glastetter of Kelso; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, William Glastetter and Louis Glastetter; and a sister, Delphine (Charles) Backfisch.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson. Deacon Walt Biri will lead Parish prayers at 6 p.m.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson, with Father John Harth officiating. Interment will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
