Audrey Stuart, the daughter of the late Overton Alexander and Orpha Leora Carter Caldwell, was born in Stoddard County, MO March 9, 1932, and passed away at the Lucy Lee Hospital in Poplar Bluff, MO on Sunday, Feb. 7, 1999, at the age of 66 years, 10 months and 29 days.
Mrs. Stuart was a homemaker and had lived in Dudley all her life. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Dexter.
On May 1, 1948, she was married to Robert Stuart in Poplar Bluff, MO.Surviving are her husband: Robert Stuart of Dudley, MO; one daughter and son-in-law: Evelyn and Richard Long of Dudley, MO; two grandchildren; Richie and Denise Long both of Dudley, MO; three brothers: Naman A. Caldwell of Puxico, MO; Grover A. Caldwell of Dexter, MO and Jessie Eugene Caldwell of Caseyville, Ill and one sister, Maxine Choat of Bloomfield, MO. Other relatives and many friends also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Tuesday, Feb. 9, 1999, in the Watkins and Sons Chapel in Dexter, MO with Bro. Dale Grissom of Dexter, MO and Bro. Carl Suddeath of Herndon, KY officiating.
Interment will be in the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter, MO with Watkins and Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of all arrangements.
