TOPEKA, Kan. -- Audrey M. Frentzel, 82, of Topeka died Thursday, April 12, 2007, at Lexington Park Nursing Facility.
She was born July 31, 1924, in Belgique, Mo., daughter of Theophile J. and Bernice Mattingly Bert. She and Alvin E. Frentzel were married Aug. 31, 1947.
Frentzel graduated from Perryville High School in Perryville, Mo. She retired as a secretary from Southwestern Bell Telephone in 1990. Frentzel was a member of Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, John Frentzel of Hamburg, Germany, James Frentzel of Lafayette, Colo.; and a brother, John T. Bert of Perryville.
She was preceded in death by three brothers.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel in Topeka.
Funeral Mass will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Interment will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
