AUDIE FISHER

DONGOLA, Ill. -- Audie Fisher, 86, of Dongola died Saturday, April 27, 1996, at the Union County Hospital in Anna.

He was born Aug. 18, 1909, at Dongola, son of Bona and Alice Earnhart Fisher. He and Georgina Ludlow were married Aug. 24, 1929. She survives.

Fisher was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dongola and was a retired farmer.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Raymond Fisher of Dongola; a sister, Ethel Dean, and a brother, Hezzie Fisher, both of Dongola; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a step-great-grandson.

He was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.

Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Crain Funeral Home in Dongola.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Rev. A.W. Landis will officiate, with burial in the Dongola American Legion Cemetery.
