ASIEL EAKER

MARBLE HILL -- Funeral service for Asiel "Chuck" Eaker of Marble Hill will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at Liley Funeral Chapel here. The Rev. Gene Robbins will officiate, with burial in Baker Cemetery near here.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 8 a.m. until service time.

Eaker, 85, died Thursday, May 21, 1992, at John J. Pershing VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.

He was born Jan. 30, 1907, at Lutesville, son of William and Mary Wilkerson Eaker. He and Alta Myers were married Sept. 21, 1946.

Eaker was a retired farmer, and veteran of World War II.

He is survived by his wife.

He was preceded in death by four brothers and seven sisters.
