Ashley Marie Clingingsmith, 41, of Jackson passed away Monday, Aug. 15, 2022, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Nov. 10, 1980, in Cape Girardeau to Perry and Carlene Dick Clingingsmith.
Ashley was a 1999 graduate of Oak Ridge High School. She was most recently employed at McDonald's in Jackson and Buchheit, Inc., in Biehle, Missouri. She attended Crossroads Fellowship Church in Jackson.
Ashley's family affectionately remembers her flair and love of cooking.
Loving survivors include her husband, Drew Howard, and daughters, Carlaena and Autumn of Jackson; parents, Perry and Carlene Clingingsmith of Oak Ridge; siblings, Deidra (Zachary) Ruesler of Oak Ridge and Rachael (Don) Larsen of West Plains, Missouri; and several loving nieces and nephews.
Surviving Ashley from Drew's family are his parents, Roy and Gail Howard of Jackson; his brother, Brock (Lauren) Howard of Dexter, Missouri; sister, Alicia (Rex) O'Connell of Jackson; and maternal grandmother, Betty Hunt of Benton, Missouri.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
The Rev. Brian Anderson will conduct the funeral service at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Zion Methodist Cemetery in Old Appleton.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to the American Diabetes Association or the National Kidney Foundation.
