CHARLESTON -- Artis O. Jarrett, 54, of Charleston, died Sunday, Nov. 13, 1994, in the emergency room of Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
She was born Aug. 30, 1940, in Deventer, daughter of Isaiah and Minnie Swope Jarrett.
Jarrett was a licensed practical nurse, and member of Mercy Seat Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Lafayette and Jerry Jarrett of Charleston; two daughters, Tammy Turner of Charlotte, N.C., Rae Jarrett of Chicago; three brothers, Isaiah Jr. and Willie Jarrett of Chicago, Billy Jarrett of Charleston; two sisters, Alfredia Jarrett of Bloomington, Ill., Evon Jarrett of Buffalo, N.Y., and a granddaughter.
Friends may call at Sparks Funeral Home from 7-8 p.m. Friday.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Mercy Seat Church, with the Rev. Lavern Frazier officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
