CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Arthur Lawrence Westrich, 83, of Chaffee died Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2009, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born May 27, 1925, in New Hamburg, Mo., son of Benjamin Lawrence and Bertha Ida Pobst Westrich.

Westrich retired from Florsheim Shoe Co. in Chaffee. He was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church and its Men's Club.

Survivors include a brother, Leroy Westrich of Chaffee.

He was preceded in death by a brother.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to service time Friday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with the Rev. Ralph Duffner officiating. Burial will be in St. Lawrence Catholic Cemetery.

Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee is in charge of arrangements.
