JACKSON -- Arthur Lichtenegger, 86, Jackson Route 1, died Monday, March 15, 1993, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Nov. 3, 1906, at Pocahontas, son of John and Bertha Schattauer Lichtenegger. He and Marie Koeberl were married April 3, 1932, at Pocahontas.
Lichtenegger had worked on the family farm all his life, and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church at Pocahontas.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Vernon Lichtenegger of Jackson; two daughters, Marjorie Leimer and Dorothy Leimer, Jackson Route 4; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, and a great-stepgranddaughter.
He was preceded in death by a brother, two sisters, a grandson and great-grandson.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. John's Church. The Rev. Albert Nyland will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. today.
