EAST PRAIRIE -- Arthur Hal Ferguson, 46, of St. Louis, formerly of East Prairie, died Sunday, Jan. 28, 1996, at John J. Pershing VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.
He was born March 31, 1949, in Hickman, Ky., son of Alves Elmer and Florence Myra Mathews Ferguson.
Ferguson had lived in St. Louis 15 years, and was a security guard at Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include two brothers, James Ferguson of Blytheville, Ark., William Ferguson of Clarksville, Tenn.; seven sisters, Jane Byrd, Mary Jackson and Brenda Rundles of East Prairie, Betty Essary of Anniston, Patricia Henry of Portageville, Ruth Layer of Aurora, Colo., and Linda Vied of Charleston.
Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie after 1 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Mike Johnson and Burl Britt officiating. Burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery.
