ARTHUR F. STEVENS

OLIVE BRANCH, Ill. -- Arthur Frederick Stevens, 55, of Deer Park, Texas, died Monday, Feb. 28, 1994, at Bay Shore Medical Center in Pasadena, Texas.

He was born June 12, 1938, in Olive Branch, son of Americus Frederick "Mack" and Lela Maude Houston Stevens. He married the former Janice Dowdy.

Stevens was employed by J.D. Abrams Construction Co. in Deer Park. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Shane Stevens of Houston, Texas, Nickolas Stevens of Deer Park; his mother of Deer Park, and a sister, Maxine Craddock of Memphis, Tenn.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Friends may call at Jones Funeral Home in Tamms after 5 p.m. Thursday.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. The Rev. Dale Billingsley will officiate, with burial in Spencer Heights Cemetery at Mounds.
