Arthur Cagle

Arthur G. Cagle, 92, formerly of Sikeston, Mo., died Monday, May 13, 2002, at the Bertrand Nursing Facility.

He was born March 3, 1910, in Coble, Tenn., son of William Thomas and Mattie Jane Gunter Cagle. He and Clyde Lee May were married Sept. 25, 1932. She died July 12, 1991.

He had lived in Scott County most of his life and was a member of the Church of Christ in Charleston, Mo., where he served as treasurer and song leader for many years.

He was employed as a salesman with Harris Auto Sales in Cape Girardeau until his retirement.

Survivors include three grandsons.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son and a granddaughter.

Friends may call after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.

Funeral will bae at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bill Bradley officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
