PERRYVILLE -- Arthur C. Hacker, 80, of Perryville, died Sunday, Sept. 15, 1991, at St. Francis Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 12, 1911, in Perry County, son of Charles and Augusta Guemmer Hacker. He married Alma Weinrich May 6, 1950, who died May 30, 1961. He later married Mabel Welland June 6, 1970, who died May 14, 1973.
Hacker was a retired farmer. He had resided with a stepgrandson, David Welland of Perryville, about 18 years.
Survivors include a stepson, Robert Welland of Perryville; three stepdaughters, Dorothy Besand and Velda Hennemann of Perryville, Janet Kiefer of St. Louis; two brothers, Herbert and Charles Hacker of Perryville; a sister, Leota Hambleton of St. Louis; 11 stepgrandchildren, and 15 great-stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church. The Rev. Donald Loesch will officiate, with burial in Zion Lutheran Cemetery at Longtown.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home after 3:30 p.m. today.
