DELTA -- Arnold August Sticht, 74, of Delta died Monday, March 29, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center. He was born Feb. 12, 1925, at Farrar, son of Henry and Bertha Fornkahl Sticht. He and Sybil Ray Pace were married in 1965 in Cape Girardeau. Sticht had worked at Stanley Steel and at Missouri Dry Dock and Repair Co. in Cape Girardeau. DELTA -- Arnold August Sticht, 74, of Delta died Monday, March 29, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center.

He was born Feb. 12, 1925, at Farrar, son of Henry and Bertha Fornkahl Sticht. He and Sybil Ray Pace were married in 1965 in Cape Girardeau.

Sticht had worked at Stanley Steel and at Missouri Dry Dock and Repair Co. in Cape Girardeau. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include his wife; a brother, Raymond Sticht of Whitewater; and a sister, Viola Davis of Whitewater.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel in Cape Girardeau from 4:30-8 p.m. today, and Thursday at Trinity Church from 11:30 a.m. until service time.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the church, with the Rev. David W. Hintz officiating. Burial will be in Thompson Cemetery near Egypt Mills.
