ARNOLD F. KRANAWETTER

JACKSON -- Arnold F. Kranawetter, 83, Jackson Route 1, died Thursday, March 5, 1992, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

He was born Dec. 15, 1908, on Route 1, son of Martin and Martha Walther Kranawetter. He and Linda Fluegge were married Aug. 16, 1941. She died Jan. 18, 1992.

Kranawetter lived on the family farm northeast of Fruitland all his life. In addition to farming, he was owner and manager of Jackson Implement Co. from 1937-51. He was also part owner of the former Feeders Warehouse.

He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church at Pocahontas, Cape County Farm Bureau, and had been a 4-H leader.

Survivors include three sons, James, Edward and Daniel Kranawetter, Jackson Route 1; a brother, Otto Kranawetter, Jackson Route 6; a sister, Clara Beachler of St. Louis, and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sons and a sister.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at McCombs Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Howard Mueller will officiate, with burial in Zion Church Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
