TAMMS, Ill. -- Arnold Eugene Johnson, 66, Tamms Route 1, died Thursday, March 11, 1993, at his home, following an extended illness.
He was born March 26, 1926, at Tamms, son of Steve and Mable Baldwin Johnson. He and Evelyn Morgan were married July 22, 1947.
Johnson had lived here since 1977. He was employed by Raffety Farms until ill health forced his retirement in 1983.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Bill Johnson of Tamms, Floyd Johnson of Barlow, Ky., Rodger Johnson of Anna; a daughter, Judy Hunter of Tamms; a brother, Bobby Johnson of Fontana, Calif.; two sisters, Clara Riggs and Chattie Smith of Charleston; six grandchildren, and a stepgrandchild.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at McMikle Funeral Chapel in Charleston, Mo. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery near Charleston.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
