DONGOLA, Ill. -- Arnie Kesler, 90, of Dongola died Tuesday, March 18, 2008, at Manorcare in Peoria, Ill. He was born Dec. 7, 1917, in Ullin, Ill., son of Turner and Lucy George Kesler. DONGOLA, Ill. -- Arnie Kesler, 90, of Dongola died Tuesday, March 18, 2008, at Manorcare in Peoria, Ill.

He was born Dec. 7, 1917, in Ullin, Ill., son of Turner and Lucy George Kesler. He married Maggie N. Kerley, who died July 25, 2004.

Kesler was employed 30 years with Caterpillar Inc. in Peoria. He was a member of Ullin Pentecostal Church and Union Local 974.

Survivors include nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother and four sisters.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge, Ill.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Scott Kelley officiating. Burial will be in Cache Chapel Cemetery near Ullin.
