Arnetha Barnett
SANDUSKY, Ill. -- Arnetha Barnett, 55, of Sandusky died Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2008, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born April 30, 1953, in Chicago, daughter of Robert Phillips and Claudetter Steele. She and Larry G. Barnett were married in September 1973.
Barnett had worked as a probation clerk, Capaha Bank clerk, licensed practical nurse at Anna Veterans Home and most recently at National Asset Recovery Services in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include two daughters, DaVanda Williams of Olive Branch, Miss., Tarava Barnett of Champaign, Ill.; her mother and stepfather, Claudetter and Ezell Jordan of Tamms, Ill.; two brothers, Van Steele of Tamms, Michael Steele of Chicago; grandmother, Mia Williams; and a friend, James Adkins of Sandusky.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to service time today at Massie Funeral Home in Mounds, Ill.
The service will be at noon today at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jimmie Ellis officiating. Burial will be in Spencer Heights Memorial Park in Mounds.
