DELTA, Mo. -- Funeral for Arlie M. Lee of Festus, Mo., was held Friday at Charter Baptist Church in De Soto, Mo. The Rev. Steve Hodges officiated, with burial in Charter Memorial Gardens at De Soto.

Vinyard Funeral Home at Festus was in charge of arrangements.

Lee, 74, died Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2000, at her home.

She was born Nov. 9, 1925, at Delta, daughter of Otis and Bertha Kynion Smith.

Lee retired as a nurse at Deal Nursing Home.

Survivors include seven daughters, Jeanie Price, Judy Holst, JoAnn Barnett, Jackie Moore, Joyce Stokes and Arlie Pace of Festus, Janet Kent of Dittmer, Mo.; four sons, Earl Lee of High Ridge, Mo., Charles, Jimmy and Jerry Lee of Festus.

Also surviving are four sisters, Annie Cobb of Chaffee, Mo., Lucille Lee of Arnold, Mo., Jewell Fowler and Myrtle Steimle of Scott City, Mo.; a brother, Curtis Smith of Illinois; 26 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, and a brother.
