Arlen E. Kuehnert, 88, of Delmar, N.Y., died Monday, Oct. 28, 2013, in Delmar.

He was born July 11, 1925, in Cape Girardeau, to Paul and Marie Gruebmeyer Kuehnert. He was married to Elizabeth Fitzgibbons 38 years. She preceded him in death May 12, 2001.

Arlen served with the U.S. Army during World War II.

He was confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau. He was a civil engineer with Walsh Construction in Albany, N.Y.

Graveside committal service will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Cape County Memorial Park, with the Rev. Nathan Burgell officiating.

Crain Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
