ARDELLA B. WETZEL

WATERLOO, Ill. -- Ardella B. Wetzel, 81, died July 30, 1994 at the St. Clement Hospital in Red Bud, Ill.

Wetzel, who was born Oct. 9, 1912, Ardella Weisenborn in Waterloo, Ill., the daughter of the late Frederick H. and Henriette K. Weisenborn (Schnellbecher) was married to the late Fred A. Wetzel. She was a housewife.

Survivors include two daughters, Marie A. Herndon of Jerusalem, Israel, and Shirley Anderson of Jackson, one son, Marlin L. Wetzel of Waterloo, a daughter-in-law, two brothers, Louis Weisenborn of Hillsboro and Frederick Weisenborn of Lebanon. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, who died Aug. 16, 1978, two sisters and one brother.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Aug. 1 and from 8 a.m. until the time of the funeral on Tuesday. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Aug. 2, at 2 p.m. at the Quernheim Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Kohlmer Memorial Cemetery in Waterloo, Ill.
